Entering his seventh season as the head coach for the Cavaliers, Coach Hubbard continues to raise the standard for the baseball program at Callaway. In his seven seasons Coach Hubbard has directed his teams to 117 wins, 2 region championships, 6 playoff appearances, and 1 final four appearance.
Prior to coming to Callaway, Coach Hubbard began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of West Georgia in 1999. He soon joined Kevin Howard at Lagrange College as the head assistant and pitching coach. In his tenure, the Panthers broke all school records for wins and won their first national championship in 2003. Coach Hubbard also worked in the Tampa Bay Devil Rays organization in the summer of 2001. In 2003, Coach Hubbard took his first step into prep coaching at Villa Rica High School as their pitching coach and assistant football coach. In 2005, he came home as the head baseball coach and defensive coordinator at Callaway High School.
A graduate of Hogansville High School, Coach Hubbard was an All Region Athlete in Baseball and Football. He was named West Georgia Player of the Year and received a scholarship to Southern Union JC, where they won the Alabama State JC Championship. He then signed with the West Georgia Braves and played in the Division II World Series, finishing 3rd in the nation. Hubbard's West Georgia record for most games played and started still stands.
Coach Hubbard is married to the former Miss Courtney Mucha, and they have two sons, Bryce and Anderson.
